What would YOU do if your brother became ill with a disease? How far would you go to help him. Adam Kohr wanted to raise awareness and money for his brother Andy who is suffering from Mitochondrial Myopathy, a disease very few of us know about.
Andy has undergone numerous medical procedures and no one knows how many more in the future. So brother Adam decided to help. Instead of just asking for money, he decided to work for the money and to raise awareness by WALKING from his home in Chicago back to his childhood home here in Harrisburg.
30 days....2-legs...and 645 miles. He did it arriving in July. He raised money to help his brother with medical costs and if needed to take care of his brother's wife and child. Thus the reason for the name of the walk....The Future of 645.
